A private golden circle tour is ideal for families and small groups of friends who simply are looking to have a great time together. Skip the part where you need to wait for a pick up and switch buses and jump right into the adventure with your own English speaking driver and comfort vehicle.
The Golden Circle is the perfect trip for visitors who want to experience the power and beauty of Icelandic nature up close in person. Iceland´s most popular day tour combines some of Iceland´s main attractions into an 8 hour tour which is ideal if you only have on day or little time on your hands.
The tour takes about 8 hours and brings you to some of the most famous Icelandic landmarks in a single day. You will see Gullfoss waterfall, or golden waterfalls at the edge of the highlands where Hvitá glacial river plunges down 32 meters in two steps. Which is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. The world famous Geysir, which gives geysers world wide their name. And the beautiful Thingvellir National Park where the tectonic plates of America and Eurasia meet.
If you wish for more information during your tour we recommend you book the option with guide. This option allows your group to be up to fourteen passengers and your guide will also be your driver. He will be able to provide stories and further information on and during your stops.
Interesting stops you can add since it is a private tour are:
- The crater Kerið
- The waterfall Faxi which is not as famous as Gullfoss but worth a visit. Please add the parking fee during the booking if you want to stop there.
