Slippbarinn opened in 2012 and is based within the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavík Marina by the Old Harbour making it a perfect place for an afternoon over a whiskey sour and prepared calamari. Slippbarinn has from the start focused on fresh, high-quality cocktails and is regarded as one of the most respected bars in town. Food is based on a classic foundation with a twist of fresh ingredients, interesting flavours and bold presentation. Slippbarinn isn´t quite in the downtown bar area but rather located by the harbour which makes it a really special place to visit.
